    UPDATED 3/26/26 AT 8:45 AM Elizabeth Township is seeking a full-time Maintenance (Building & Grounds) Laborer to assist with the maintenance of township buildings, parks, and public spaces. This position involves work related to building maintenance, property upkeep, groundskeeping, and assisting with seasonal operations and township events. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in maintenance, facilities, groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field preferred. Hourly rate: $28.00 per hour, plus medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and participation in the Township retirement plan. Applicants must live in Elizabeth Township or be able to relocate within one year, possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid PA Driver’s License, must be at least 21 years of age, and must pass a pre-employment drug screening.     Elizabeth Township Warming Center Notice Due to the current power outage affecting portions of the community, Elizabeth Township will open a Warming Center at the Municipal Building to assist residents who may need a warm place during this time. Location: Elizabeth Township Municipal Building 522 Rock Run Road Elizabeth, PA 15037 Hours: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM Residents without heat or electricity are welcome to stop by to warm up and charge essential devices. There will also be coffee available. Please also consider checking on neighbors, especially seniors or those who may need assistance during this outage. For emergencies, please call 911.     FINANCE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER – ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, PA is seeking a qualified Finance and Operations Manager . The primary responsibility of this position is overseeing all municipal financial operations, including sanitation finances Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, audits, bond and debt management, payroll oversight, grant administration, and ensuring compliance with the Pennsylvania First Class Township Code, DCED requirements, and GASB standards. The position will also assist the Township Manager with day-to-day administrative operations within the Township office. The Finance and Operations Manager reports directly to the Township Manager and works closely with department heads and the Board of Commissioners. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible financial or governmental accounting experience. Experience in municipal government or public sector finance is strongly preferred. Salary Range:  $75,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience.
