FINANCE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER – ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP
Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, PA is seeking a qualified Finance and Operations Manager.
The primary responsibility of this position is overseeing all municipal financial operations, including sanitation finances
Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, audits, bond and debt management, payroll oversight, grant administration, and ensuring compliance with the Pennsylvania First Class Township Code, DCED requirements, and GASB standards. The position will also assist the Township Manager with day-to-day administrative operations within the Township office.
The Finance and Operations Manager reports directly to the Township Manager and works closely with department heads and the Board of Commissioners.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible financial or governmental accounting experience. Experience in municipal government or public sector finance is strongly preferred.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience.
Evening meetings and extended hours during budget preparation and audit periods may be required.
