Allegheny Cleanways - Thank You!

Back in May, Allegheny Cleanways hosted a clean-up event called tri-TRASH-lon. This was a bike, dumpsite, water cleanup event where volunteers biked along the GAP from Boston to 1st St to cleanup a dumpsite along the trail then take kayaks down the Yough to clean up trash that had collected during the previous month's floods. They then biked down to Cedar Creek Park to camp for the night, heading all the way back the next morning. A total of 4,822 pounds of trash was collected.
