Update on Waste Management
Township Update:
After months of acclimating to the automated collection, Waste Management will fully implement the new system starting September 9th. Please read their update below and note that all future correspondence is to go directly through Waste Management. If you call the Township Municipal Building, you will be directed to contact Waste Management through the information below.
Thank you for your patience in this transition as we anticipate a cleaner Elizabeth Township.
Waste Management Update:
Effective the week of September 9, WM will no longer collect material outside of your provided WM trash and recycle cart(s). A tagging process has been in place for 3 weeks to notify residents of the transition to automated collection.
Residents have the option to receive a second cart for no additional cost. To request an additional cart or make an adjustment to your service, please contact Waste Management at 800-866-4460 and say, “service change”.
Bulk collection occurs during the 2nd full week of the month (this week), and residents are permitted two bulk items per monthly collection. To schedule a bulk item to be collected outside of the designated week, please visit www.wm.com/us/en/home/bulk-trash-pickup.
