Scouting for Food

Scouting for Food is an annual campaign in conjunction with Laurel Highlands Council and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Animal Friends. Troop 99 is the only Boy Scout Troop in Elizabeth Township and their chartered organization is the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church. Troop 99 and Pack 99, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, will be passing out hang tags on 4/25. They will cover the area around Mt. Vernon Church, Mt Vernon community (Duncan Station and surrounding roads), and some parts of Greenock and Boston. Food collection will be on Saturday 4/29. Food can also be dropped off at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church during that week.
