Penneman Avenue Bridge Closure

During a recent bridge inspection, the Penneman Avenue Bridge was found to be structurally deficient. Due to this finding, the Township is required to close the Penneman Avenue Bridge to ALL traffic until further notice.

THIS CLOSURE WILL TAKE EFFECT ON THURSDAY, JUNE 25TH, 2026 AT 8:00AM.

Penneman Avenue will be closed at the intersection of Penneman Avenue and Oak Avenue, and at the intersection of Penneman Avenue and Route 51.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause our residents, but this is a necessary step to ensure safe roads for all our residents.

The Township will be working with engineers to come up with a solution to this issue.

In the coming days, a detour will be posted. Emergency Services have all been notified of this closure and are taking appropriate steps to mitigate any delays in response time.
