1.       Motion to adopt Resolution 2025-17 to make application to the Statewide Local Share Account for a grant in the amount $800,000.00 for an addition and upgrades to the Elizabet Township Municipal Building Complex.

2.       Motion to approve the Commissioner’s Meeting Minutes dated September 8, 2025.

 

3.       Motion to approve the Commissioner's Workshop Meeting Minutes dated September 22, 2025.

 

4.       Motion to appoint Commissioner Evans to the Community Advisory Panel for U.S. Steel and Commissioner Musisko as the Alternate.

 

5.       Motion to approve the lot consolidation request from Todd Skinner to consolidate parcels 651-F-259 and 651-F-255 into one parcel.  The properties exist in an R-3 zoning district and the plan has been recommended for approval by the Planning Commission.

 

6.       Motion to set the date and time for “Trick or Treat” in Elizabeth Township as Friday, October 31, 2025, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

 

7.       Motion to waive the fee for the use of Building #3 at the Community Center on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, for Roberta Bauer to host a “meet and greet” for the Elizabeth Forward School Board Candidates.

8.       Motion to approve the Township Bill Warrant dated October 6, 2025, in the amount of $633,384.40

 

9.       Motion to approve the Sanitary Bill Warrant dated October 6, 2025, in the amount of $497,669.52

 

10.   Motion to ratify the vote from September 8, 2025, to approve the purchase of a ½ page ad for the SHACOG Annual Dinner program book at a cost of $70.00. 

 

11.   Motion to ratify the vote from September 8, 2025, to make a grant application to the DCED on behalf of the Buena Vista Fire Department in the amount $102,238.00 to replace the Buena Vista Pool Liner and allow the proper township officials to manage and sign all grant documents.

 

12.   Motion to reimburse the General Fund Account in the amount of $228,806.96 from the Liquid Fuels Account for salt purchased for winter road maintenance.

 

13.   Motion to approve establishing a Sanitary Capital Fund Account with Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust (PLIGIT).

 

14.   Motion to transfer all funds in the amount of $277,411.02 from the Sanitary Capital Fund Account at Northwest Bank to the Sanitary Capital Fund Account at Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust.

 

15.   Motion to close the Sanitary Capital Fund Account at Northwest Bank.

 

16.   Motion to approve the non-surface lease agreement between Elizabeth Township and EQT for the following parcels: 1127-P-179 & 1127-P-189.

 

17.   Motion to distribute $75,684.36 in 2025 Volunteer Fire Relief Funding to the Township volunteer fire departments as follows: $15,136.87 to the Buena Vista Fire Department, $15,136.87 to the Blaine Hill Fire Department, and $45,410.62 to the Elizabeth Township Fire Department #1.

 

18.   Motion to increase the Elizabeth Township School Crossing Guard hourly wage to $18.50 per hour effective October 5, 2025. The Elizabeth Forward School District will cover half of this cost.

 

19.   Motion to approve an intergovernmental cooperation agreement with Elizabeth Township and the Borough of Jefferson Hills for the use of their sewer vac truck at a cost of $125.00 per hour Monday through Friday (exclusive of holidays) from 6:00 am till 2:00 pm. All outside hours are $200.00 per hour with a minimum of five hours.

 

20.   Motion to ratify the vote from September 16, 2025, to approve the advertisement to request bids for the Green Light-Go Funding Program for McKeesport Road (SR 2001) and Lovedale Road (SR 2010) for new traffic signals.

 

21.   Motion to accept the quote from Chelse’s Roofing in the amount of $2,600.00 to replace the pavilion roof at Rich Maha Memorial Park.

 

22.   Motion to award Contract #2-2025 of the Boston Paving project for Halkett Alley to Plum Contracting as the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $200,780.00 and authorize the proper Township officials to sign all necessary documents.

 

23.   Motion to approve pay application 19 from PDDM Solutions in the amount of $22,000.00 for paving at the Boston Fieldhouse parking area.

 

24.   Motion to approve and manage the amended contract with PDDM Solutions for the Buena Vista Fire Hall Renovations funded through an LSA Grant and the Buena Vista Fire Company.

 

25.   Motion to purchase parking barriers for the Boston Fieldhouse from Mon River Supply at a cost not to exceed $2,000.00.
