The Elizabeth Township Municipal Offices will be closed today, Monday, September 2nd 2024 in observance of Labor Day. Municipal offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at 8:00am.

California Labor Code Section 2802 protects employees on issues relating to employer reimbursements of expenses incurred by the employee in the discharge of their duties. These may be in the form of traveling expenses, tools, and equipment, and even uniforms. The purpose of this law is to ensure that a worker will not be out-of-pocket in the operation of business and provides liability to the employer for such expenditures.
