FREE Household Chemical Event

MON VALLEY RESIDENTS INVITED TO FREE WORKSHOP & COLLECTION EVENT

Mon Valley residents can rid their homes of unwanted household chemicals by recycling paints, pesticides, cleaners, auto fluids, and more on Sat., June 21, at a PRC collection at the Elizabeth Forward Middle School. Each household can recycle 10 gallons or 50 pounds of chemicals for free; additional quantities accepted for a fee.

First residents can learn how to store, prepare for a collection event, and reduce household chemical waste at a free workshop on Tues., June 17, in Clairton. Both events are generously supported by the Pittsburgh Foundation.
