1.      Motion to adopt Resolution 2024-06 establishing a schedule of attorney fees, charges, and expenses for the collection of delinquent real estate taxes.

 

2.      Motion to adopt Resolution 2024-07 authorizing the submission of a grant application to the PA DCNR for funding to complete a Township Comprehensive Recreation Plan.

 

3.      Motion to adopt Resolution 2024-08 authorizing the submission of a grant application to the PA DCNR for funding to complete Phase One of the Chapel Drive Recreation Area.

4.      Motion to appoint the following Elizabeth Township residents to the Property Maintenance Code Appeal Board, as recommended by the Elizabeth Township Building Inspector: Dan Poirier, Mark Cain, and Dennis Kampas.

 

5.      Motion to approve a subdivision of parcel #1266-B-358 at 420 & 430 Industry Rd. The property exists in an R-3 zoning district.

 

6.      Motion to approve a lot consolidation of parcels #553-S-242 & #553-S-253 at 1120 East Smithfield St. The properties exist in an R-3 & M-1 Zoning districts.

7.      Motion to approve the Township Bill Warrant dated December 4, 2023, in the amount of $764,894.45.

 

8.      Motion to approve the Sanitary Bill Warrant dated December 4, 2023, in the amount of $365,201.13.

 

9.      Motion to ratify the vote from February 26, 2024, to hire Carly Stammer as a part-time Police Clerk, effective March 4, 2024, at a pay rate recommended by the Personnel Committee. This hire fills an existing position and does not create a new position.

 

10.   Motion to ratify the vote from February 7, 2024, to accept the final bid of $10,000.00 on Municibid for the sale of the Spectrum 450 generator from the old sanitary treatment plant.

 

11.   Motion to approve payment of change order #1 in the amount of $4,500.00 from the Betters Company for the demolition of 2560 Greenock Buena Vista Rd.

 

12.   Motion to approve payment to Laurel Ford for the second 2024 Ford F600 Chassis in the amount of $65,960.00. American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be used to pay this invoice. This purchase was previously approved by the Board of Commissioners on January 9, 2023.

 

13.   Motion to accept the proposal from Atlas Pest Solutions for the initial treatment of carpenter ants at all three community center buildings at a total cost of $795.00. This is in addition to the quarterly service approved by the Board of Commissioners on November 6, 2023, at a total cost of $300.00 per quarter.

 

14.   Motion to ratify the vote from February 13, 2024, to accept the construction quote from Dave Grossman to build a decorative wall around the new Municipal Building sign at a cost of $7,200.00.

 

15.   Motion to ratify the vote from February 26, 2024, to accept the proposal from Ackenheil Engineers, Inc. to perform core sample investigations on landside #3 of Jacktown Rd. at a cost of $14,420.00.

 

16.   Motion to accept the proposal from Just Kleen for portable bathroom rental and maintenance at a cost of $102.00 per unit per month for weekly cleaning.

 

17.   Motion to hire Nathan Spanbauer as a part-time seasonal employee to scan Township documents at an hourly rate of $15.00. Nathan will work during the summer until he returns to school.

 

18.   Motion to approve the agreement from Maiello Brungo & Maiello law Firm to collect delinquent real estate taxes for Elizabeth Township.

 

19.   Motion to waive rental fee for the Women’s Club of Elizabeth to use Building #3 at the Community Center on April 11-12, 2024.

 

20.   Motion to approve payment to Webster Metals & Recycling, LLC. In the amount of $49,000.00 for the completed demolition of five blighted properties.

 

21.   Motion to accept the lowest responsible bid of $130,130.00 from El Grande Industries, Inc. for basketball/pickleball court renovations at Highland Meadows Park as recommended by KLH Engineers.

 

22.   Motion to approve the purchase of an audio & video system for the Board chambers and conference room from Hollowood Music and Sound at a cost of $50,920.71. American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be used to purchase this equipment. Hollowood Music and Sound is an approved COSTAR vendor.

 

23.   Motion to approve the purchase of a Lee Boy 8520C Paver from Stephenson Equipment, Inc. at cost not to exceed $235,000.00. American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be used to purchase this equipment.

 

24.   Motion to approve the purchase of a Landa pressure washer from PPW Industrial at a cost not to exceed $9,000.00. American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be used to purchase this equipment.

 

25.   Motion to approve the purchase of a vehicle undercarriage cleaning unit at a cost not to exceed $2,000.00. American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be used to purchase this equipment.

 

26.   Motion to purchase an Arrowhead mini drone from Tracer Drone Technologies at a cost not to exceed $11,000.00. This purchase was recommended by the Public Safety Committee.
